Wendy Burke Worden

Wendy Burke Worden, 52, of Oklahoma City, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012, in Oklahoma City. She was born October 1, 1959, in Ogden, Utah. Wendy is survived by her parents, Adrian and Marie Burke of Ardmore and the late Patricia Blumharst of Idaho Falls, Idaho; a son, Scott McMillan and wife, Staci, and grandchildren, Kaden and Elizabeth of Ardmore; a daughter, Carly McCaslin and husband, Jason and grandchildren, Jackson and Kate of Tulsa; a daughter, Lauren McMillan of Oklahoma City; and daughter, Allie Worden of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by five sisters, Debbie Holcombe of Orange, Virginia, Rebecca Collins of Sophia, North Carolina, and Lorrie Briggs, of Denver, Colorado, Vicki Hunt of Memphis, Tennessee, and Leann Boyer, of Massachusetts. She is preceded in death by her sister, Tara Sharp of Enid, Oklahoma. Wendy graduated from Oakhaven High School in Memphis, Tennessee, and Murray State College in Tishomingo with a bachelor’s degree of science in nursing. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. today, September 2, 20112, at the First United Methodist Church in Ardmore.
