Wilma Ward

Wilma Ward, 75 of Plain City, OH died March 1, 2011 in Oklahoma City. She was born on April 12, 1935 in Elizabethton (Carter County) Tennessee to Lee & Ida (Moody) Bowman. Wilma retired from Ranco Controls in Plain City after 35 years of employment as the Auditor/Outgoing Inspector and was a member of Enterprise Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Henry Ward (1992) and two brothers: Elbert and Roy Bowman and sister Virginia (Bowman) Brown. She is survived by her two loving daughters: Mary Ann (David) Webster of Oklahoma City, OK and Lois Jane (Anthony) Ross of McAlester, OK; five grandchildren: Herbert (Beverly) Bevins, Amy (Russell) Caton, Rebekah (Elvin) Vallejo, Diana Webster and Lisa (Shea) Bainter; 9 great-grandchildren: Keanu, Vann, Payton and Trinity Bevins, David and Dezmend Dieringer, Jonathan Reisinger, Russell Jr, Kera Caton; 1 sister Thelma (Al) Meddles as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Funeral service to be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Church of the Savior located at 5600 NW 63rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK with burial to follow at Forrest Grove Cemetery in Plain City, Ohio.
